Israel claims it controls Gaza side of Rafah crossing

Israel has taken control of the Gaza side of the Rafah border crossing. (Subscribe: https://bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe) The IDF also moved ahead with an offensive in the southern city – where some 1.4 million Palestinians are sheltering – launching air strikes on eastern areas people have been told to leave. Ceasefire talks are set to resume after Hamas said it would accept a deal drawn up by Egypt. Israel says the deal does not meet its demands.
