Israel condemned by closest allies as Gaza faces starvation

The UK has suspended trade negotiations with Israel and summoned its ambassador over the ongoing aid blockade of Gaza.

The Israeli government has hit back accusing the UK of an "anti-Israel obsession" and saying that "external pressure will not divert Israel from its path in defending its existence and security against enemies who seek its destruction”.

But even last week President Trump gave Israel the cold shoulder on his Middle East tour.
