Israel-Gaza war: White House says it supports Israeli airstrikes

The ceasefire in Gaza has broken down. Perhaps irreversibly.

The current situation is reminiscent of the worst days of the recent war.

At least 85 Palestinians have been killed in the last 24 hours and 133 wounded in continued Israeli attacks on the Gaza strip, half of them children.

And now Israel has expanded the ground operations around Rafa in the south.
