Israel says it has launched a ground invasion in southern Lebanon. Here’s everything we know so far.

Israeli authorities claim these are limited and targeted raids – aimed at pushing Hezbollah back and stopping the group firing into Israel, which it’s been consistently doing since last October.

But both Hezbollah, and the UN peace-keeping force in southern Lebanon, have denied that Israeli troops have so far crossed the border.
