Israel launches Syria strikes as Druze-Bedouin clashes escalate

Israeli forces have carried out attacks against Syrian forces in southern Syria.

Dozens have been killed since the weekend in sectarian fighting between Druze militias and Bedouin tribes.

Israel says it was acting to protect the Druze community.

Syria’s foreign ministry says it holds Israel fully responsible for the attacks.
