‘Israel preparing for ground invasion’, Netanyahu says

While at the UN, secretary general Antonio Gutteres has become embroiled in a deepening row with Israel over a statement he made about the war.

Israeli diplomats are demanding his resignation for suggesting the attacks by Hamas – which the UK has designated a terrorist organisation – had "not happened in a vacuum".
