An Israeli objector and activist who was jailed for refusing to fight for the Israel Defence Forces has told Sky News that "more and more people" are refusing to be drafted.
Speaking to Sky’s Matt Barbet, Iddo Elam said he has received abuse and death threats as a result of his actions – but stated that he believes it is important to "stand your moral ground and be a part of history".
The teenager, who has now been granted an exemption, described the war as "horrible" and condemned the humanitarian crisis being faced by millions of people living in Gaza.
