An Israeli military strike targeting the militant commander allegedly behind the recent Golan Heights attack has killed one woman and injured 68 people in Beirut.

A significant explosion was reported in the southern suburbs of the capital and the wounded were taken to nearby hospitals, a Hezbollah stronghold, on Tuesday.
