Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has accused Hamas of "blackmail" and says the Israeli cabinet will not meet to approve the ceasefire deal until the group agrees to all details.
The prime minister’s office has issued a statement saying: "Hamas is backing out of the explicit understandings agreed upon with the mediators and Israel in a last-minute blackmail attempt,"

A senior Hamas official has appeared to push back on claims made by Mr Netanyahu. Izzat el Reshiq said: "Hamas is committed to the ceasefire agreement, which was announced by the mediators."
