Israeli strike targeted senior Hamas official

Despite a fragile US-brokered ceasefire in Gaza, Israel carried out a strike targeting Hamas’ most senior military leader,  Izz al-Din al-Haddad, who Israel holds responsible for being one of the "architects" of the October 7th attack.
