Israeli strikes on Gaza kill at least 60 as UK, France and Canada condemn offensive

At least 60 people have been killed in strikes in Gaza overnight. It comes as the UK, France and Canada issued a joint statement condemning Israel’s expanded military operations and threatening concrete action if aid was not allowed in.

Around 100 aid trucks have been approved to enter the strip today after the UN warned that fourteen thousand babies would be at risk of dying in the next 48 hours.
