Israeli strikes on school housing displaced and market kill at least 38 in Gaza, authorities say

Israeli strikes on both a school housing displaced families and near a crowded market in Gaza City have killed at least 38 people, according to local authorities.

Medics said two strikes targeted the al-Karama School in the suburb of Tuffah, destroying classrooms and leaving a large crater in the campus. Another strike near a market and restaurant in the city then killed at least 23 people. Israeli authorities are yet to comment.
