Jeremy Clarkson is at the family farm tax protest in Westminster, where thousands of farmers have gathered over changes to inheritance tax.
Speaking to our news correspondent Dan Whitehead, Mr Clarkson was asked what his message is to the government.
"Please, back down," he said simply.
And asked how bad this could be for farmers, he said: "It’s the end."
