The Prime Minister has told parents of children whose deaths are linked to social media, that "game changing" efforts to tackle the harms will be announced in "weeks, not months".
It came as bereaved families met Sir Keir Starmer in Downing Street on the day consultation closes on a possible ban on under 16s accessing social media sites.
Earlier leading doctors warned that they are seeing a "wave of radicalised children" who’ve been exposed to hateful, addictive and distressing content.
