After voting for its independence in 1992, Bosnia-Herzegovina fell under attack. Bosnian Serbs – backed by Serbia’s president – laid siege to its capital Sarajevo. This began a campaign by Bosnian Serbs to ethnically cleanse the country of its Muslim population, known as Bosniaks.
ITN archive footage shows repoters on the ground witnessing the ethnic cleansing of Bosnia’s Muslim population that took place in so-called "transit camps".
