Java residents report on the eruption of Indonesia’s Mount Semeru | DW News

People on the Indonesian island of Java are returning to the villages they evacuated after Mount Semeru repeatedly erupted. Over a thousand people fled as hot gas and ash cascaded toward them, causing major damage.
