Jay Slater's mother Debbie Duncan campaigns against tragedy trolling

The families of missing people are backing calls from Jay Slater’s mother to introduce a law to stop so-called "tragedy trolling" and the spread of misinformation online. Jay, 19, went missing in Tenerife in June 2024. His body was found in a ravine a month later.

She told Sky’s Tom Parmenter she wants her family to be the last to have to go through the torture she still faces 18 months after her son’s death.
