Jeffrey Epstein emails allege Donald Trump ‘spent hours’ with one of his victims

The White House says fresh emails released by US Democrats which appear to link Donald Trump to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein are a smear campaign against the US President.

One email alleges Donald Trump spent hours with a victim. In another addressed to his associate Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein wrote that Trump "knew about the girls" referring to the US president as the "dog that hasn’t barked".

Trump has always denied any wrongdoing in relation to Jeffrey Epstein and has previously said the allegations against him are a "hoax".
