The Hunt family were among the names of 95 women who were killed by men in the past year which were read out in front of MPs.
The same day Kyle Clifford, their killer, was found guilty of raping his ex-partner before he killed her. A court heard how Kyle Clifford assaulted Louise Hunt before murdering her and her sister with a crossbow and killing their mother.
Safeguarding Minister Jess Phillips said it was the 10th year she has done it and promised that under her the issue will "get the attention it deserves". On average a woman is killed every three days in the UK.
