A federal judge in the United States has ordered the controversial Alligator Alcatraz immigration detention centre to be shut down within 60 days.
The ruling by Miami district court judge Kathleen Williams prevents any more detainees being brought to the facility – a flagship project by the Trump administration.
She said it was causing severe and irreparable damage to the Florida Everglades.
Last week US Government lawyers said they planned to appeal.
