Three men have been jailed following the rioting that broke out after the murders of three young girls in Southport.
Liam Riley, 41, of Kirkdale, admitted violent disorder and a racially aggravated public order offence in Liverpool city centre on Saturday night.
Derek Drummond, 58, of Southport, pleaded guilty to violent disorder and assault of an emergency worker in Southport last Tuesday.
And Declan Geiran, 29, of Liverpool, admitted violent disorder and arson over rioting in Liverpool city centre on Saturday afternoon.
The sentences are the first at the Crown Court and were fast-tracked after Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer promised quick punishment for those involved.
