US vice president Kamala Harris said she will "not be silent" over the humanitarian situation in Gaza following a meeting with Israel’s prime minister.
The probable Democratic Party presidential nominee said she raised "serious concerns" with Benjamin Netanyahu during discussions at the White House.
The Republican Party’s nominee, Donald Trump, responded by calling Ms Harris’s remarks "disrespectful" as he hosted Mr Netanhayu at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida.
