Kashmir attack: India and Pakistan cancel visas for each others' nationals as tensions rise ITV News

India and Pakistan cancelled visas for their nationals to each other’s countries on Thursday, as tensions rose between the two nuclear armed neighbours, following an attack that killed 26 people in Indian-held Kashmir.

India has blamed Pakistan for Tuesday’s deadly attack on a group of mostly Indian tourists.
In response, it has revoked all visas issued to Pakistani nationals, with effect from Sunday, and ordered all Pakistanis currently in India to leave before the end of the week.

The country also announced other measures, including cutting the number of diplomatic staff and closing the only functional land border crossing between the countries.
