Kashmir attack: India says suspected gunmen are Pakistanis

Police and soldiers have been searching homes and forests in Indian-run Kashmir, following Tuesday’s attack which killed 26 people at a tourist site.

India says two of the suspected gunmen are Pakistani citizens – raising tensions between the two nuclear-armed nations. They have suspended visas for each other’s nationals, while India has also suspended a decades-old water-sharing treaty.
