Keir Starmer and Labour having “MEXICAN STANDOFF” as PM set to be “DRAGGED” out of Downing Street

Keir Starmer and the Labour Party are having a "Mexican standoff" as a number of MPs are urging the Prime Minister to quit.

Speaking to GB News, former Chancellor of the Exchequer Kwasi Kwarteng likened the situation to Boris Johnon’s final days in Number 10.

He said: "This is much more like the end of Boris Johnson where he was very reluctant to leave office. He felt that he had more in the tank, so to speak, and he essentially had to be dragged out. And I think Starmer is very much in that mindset."
