Prime Minister Keir Starmer is meeting police chiefs this afternoon following ‘multiple high-profile incidents of extreme violence and public disorder on our streets’.
After the summit, he will give a news conference at around 4pm.
The address follows incidents around the UK – including in Southport, Hartlepool and London.
