Isaac Herzog, the president of Israel, is set to meet Sir Keir Starmer in Downing Street later today.
It comes ahead of the UK’s expected recognition of a state of Palestine later this month, and after the PM met the leader of the Palestinian Authority on Monday.
In a statement, Herzog’s spokesperson said he would be telling Starmer of Israel’s opposition to the recognition of Palestine.
