Kemi Badenoch says Net Zero by 2050 is ‘impossible’

Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch says it is “impossible” for the UK to meet its net zero target by 2050, which was a goal that had been set by a previous Conservative government.

In her speech, Badenoch says climate targets can’t be reached by 2050 “without a serious drop in our living standards or by bankrupting us”.
