French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron have arrived in the UK for their state visit.
The King and Queen, along with other royals including the Prince and Princess of Wales, will host them at events throughout the day – including laying a wreath at Westminster Abbey’s grave of the Unknown Warrior.
Macron will also address Parliament and hold talks with Prime Minister Keir Starmer about defence, investment, and how to stop small boats from crossing the English Channel.
The day ends with a State Banquet at Windsor Castle. The state visit runs from 8-10 July.
