Kneecap rapper granted unconditional bail over terror charge

Hundreds gathered outside a London court this morning as a member of the Irish rap trio Kneecap arrived to face a terror-related charge.

Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh, who performs under the stage name Mo Chara, is accused of displaying a flag in support of the proscribed militant group Hezbollah at a gig in London last November. The group, who have denied supporting Hezbollah, say the charge is a politically motivated attempt to silence their support for Palestinians.
