Knife crime: 150 attacks at schools in England and Wales

There were at least 150 knife attacks at schools across England and Wales last year, we can reveal, in the latest of our exclusive reports on school violence.

The education secretary Bridget Phillipson has described these figures as “deeply concerning”.

It comes as the hit Netflix drama Adolescence, about a teenager who fatally stabs a fellow pupil, has prompted a national conversation about serious attacks in and around schools.
