Greater Manchester Police have reopened an investigation into claims that Labour’s deputy leader Angela Rayner may have broken electoral law over information she gave about her living situation a decade ago. It comes after the Conservative Party’s deputy chairman made the force aware that neighbours had contradicted her statement that a property, separate from her husband’s, was her main residence.
