Labour leadership: Length of race 'doesn't feel right', says deputy PM hopeful Bell Ribeiro-Addy

Labour deputy PM hopeful Bell Ribeiro-Addy joined Sophy Ridge to share her thoughts on the leadership race.

Ribeiro-Addy is a member of the Socialist Campaign Group, a group of MPs sitting on the left of the Labour Party and will likely draw support from most of them – though she only has eight public backers so far.

Asked if the fact that there is only a matter of days to get the requisite 80 backers among MPs was a stitch up, Ribeiro-Addy says: "It doesn’t feel right to me".
