The Cabinet Office is investigating claims that a think tank called Labour Together paid for a report investigating journalists who were looking into its funding.

Technology Secretary Liz Kendall said press freedom was "essential" and that officials would make sure "all the facts are established".
Labour Together is accused of paying APCO Worldwide £30,000 for a report designed to discredit journalists who had written about undeclared donations.
