Liberal Democrats’ Treasury spokesperson has told Sky News that removing the two child benefit cap will save money in the long term.
Daisy Cooper also suggested that measures like a windfall tax on banks, a more progressive implementation of capital gains tax, and a digital services tax would be better than putting a council tax surcharge on homes worth more than £2m.
