Lidl ordered to stop selling imitation Birkenstocks in the Netherlands

A Dutch court has ordered Lidl to stop selling imitation versions of Birkenstock shoes in the Netherlands.

They relate to copies of Birkenstock’s Arizona, Madrid, Gizeh, Boston and Florida models. Birkenstock said it will "continue to take decisive action against copycats" while Lidl said it would not comment on ongoing litigation.
