A woman has been shot dead by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent in Minneapolis.
The city council identified the dead woman as Renee Nicole Good, who was "out caring for her neighbours this morning and her life was taken today at the hands of the federal government".
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin claimed the deceased was shot when she sought to "weaponise" her vehicle and allegedly attempted to run over an officer.
In a news conference, Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey called those claims "bullshit" and criticised ICE for its operations, telling officers to "get the f*** out" of the US city.
