European leaders have rallied against US President Donald Trump’s threats of additional tariffs and attacks on Greenland’s sovereignty, with the European Commission’s President accusing him of untrustworthiness.
French president Emmanuel Macron also warned that the EU could be pushed to use their anti-coercion mechanism “for the very first time” against the US, which could potentially restrict access to European markets for American companies.
That news came as the President also accused the UK of "great stupidity" over its decision to return sovereignty of the Chagos Islands to Mauritius, saying it was "another in a very long line of National Security reasons why Greenland has to be acquired" on his Truth Social platform.
