A 53-year-old man is being questioned by police on suspicion of attempted murder after a car collided with a crowd of people in Liverpool.

The man from West Derby was also arrested on suspicion of drug driving.
People were celebrating Liverpool FC’s Premier League victory when the vehicle ploughed into revellers.
Police believe the driver followed an ambulance to get around barriers that were set up.
65 people were injured, and 11 remain in hospital.
