A dad who used a car as a "weapon" screaming at Liverpool fans to "get out the f****** way" as they celebrated their club’s league title win has been jailed for more than 20 years.
Paul Doyle wept as footage of the horrific rampage was shown to court during the two-day sentencing hearing.
Fans described how they have "never felt so scared in my life" as Doyle’s Ford Galaxy – which weighed nearly two tonnes – collided with “well over 100 people” in the space of two minutes.
Jailing him Judge Andrew Menary KC, said Doyle "shouted expressions of frustration underline your state of mind at the time, not fear or panic but an inexplicable and undiluted fury".
