The alleged driver of a car that ploughed into a crowd at Liverpool’s victory parade has made his first court appearance.
Paul Doyle, 53, is accused of seven offences following the incident on Water Street in the city centre on Monday, 26 May, which resulted in 79 people suffering injuries.
Doyle’s case was sent to the Crown Court, where a trial date was set for 24 November 2025, with a plea hearing scheduled for 14 August.
