Organisers of the New Year’s Eve fireworks event in London say they are "continuing to monitor the weather forecast closely" after the Hogmanay celebrations were cancelled.
High winds, rain and snow are forecast to hit Scotland on New Year’s Eve.
Events in Blackpool have also been axed.
