A long lost pilot episode of Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends has been restored, more than 40 years after it was created.
The original of the children’s classic was filmed in 1983 and features the narration of Ringo Starr.
The pilot episode Down The Mine, which is available online to stream, has been painstakingly restored to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the Thomas the Tank Engine franchise.
