The former prime minister Liz Truss has called for tax cuts again at a fringe event at the Conservative party conference.

Addressing attendees, Truss said: ‘I’m calling upon the chancellor at the autumn statement to put corporation tax back down to 19%.’ She added: ‘And frankly, if we can get it lower, the better’.
