Lucy Letby suffered 'potential miscarriage of justice' - ex-senior coroner's officer

It’s been two years since nurse Lucy Letby was told she would die in prison, serving 15 whole life sentences for murdering seven babies and attempting to murder seven more.

In that time, her conviction has been repeatedly challenged by medical experts, leading politicians and lawyers.

Now, for the first time, a senior coroner’s officer who investigated deaths on behalf of the coroner for two decades has spoken out.

Stephanie Davies worked within Cheshire Police at the time the investigation into baby deaths was opened.

She’s been sharing her views with us about the safety of the convictions, including important information which she says was not reported to the coroner when one baby died.
