M23 rebels declare DRC ceasefire

The Rwandan-backed M23 rebels have declared a unilateral ceasefire in the Democratic Republic of Congo for "humanitarian reasons".

The UN estimates around 900 people have been killed and thousands have been injured or displaced, after rebels seized a key city Goma last week.
