Officers are compeleting their latest searches in Portugal, as part of the investigation into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.
Search teams have spent three days scouring scrubland on the outskirts of Lagos in various abandoned structures – using equipment such as a ground-penetrating radar.
It is understood the searches will finish on Thursday, as officers could be seen using a digger to remove rubble from more derelict buildings in the same area.
