A major internet outage has stopped websites, apps and online banking from working after a technical glitch affecting Amazon Web Services.
The outage has hit some of the world’s biggest apps and websites and games, including Zoom, Signal, and Fortnite. The HM Revenue and Customs website also reported problems.
Amazon Web Services said engineers may have found the root cause of the problem, and are "actively working" to fix it.
