Man, 92, will die in prison after committing 'Britain's oldest cold case' murder | ITV News

A 92-year-old man will spend the rest of his life in prison after being convicted of the rape and murder of elderly widow Louisa Dunne in 1967.

Ryland Headley was jailed at Bristol Crown Court for life with a minimum term of 20 years for the rape and murder of Louisa Dunne in 1967.

He was found guilty of both charges by a jury on Monday 30 June, in what is thought to be the UK’s longest-running cold case to be solved.
