A man has been arrested for allegedly entering a mosque in Manchester carrying multiple weapons in a bag – including an axe, a knife and a hammer.

Greater Manchester Police say they have not declared it a terrorist incident but are working with Counter Terrorism Police to investigate.
Police are now looking for a second man, who is believed to have been with the suspect but left before officers arrived.
